(Dodgy Dave Tale) The Vicar's Queue

This is just not a Dodgy Dave Tale
It's back to the Vicar and a few more details
You see since Valentine's Day is near
Vera his wife still would like a kiss from her dear
But it seems with all her dismay
She has to step in line today

For after the Vicar says his sermon
The ladies in Church are all determined
To form a queue right up to his side
Then giving a peck of thanks is tried
Poor Vera still stuck way back in the rear
Waiting to get one kiss from her dear
(aw....Vera you'll get yours and it will be more sincere)

Now why does this one remind me of Agatha Christie? Maybe it's all those elderly ladies in hats madly in love with the vicar. Great fun poem JoJo. Old Dodgy certainly makes an unusual poetic muse he he! love, Allie ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

JoAnn, you got this right word for word, she always seems to be at the end of the queue in church hoping to get and extra kiss. Top marks all the way and thanks for this one. Dodgy Dave
