Doc Wilde And Thank You
Doc Wilde though only for awhile
You've given me a smile
And for that I will be grateful
That you are there to make me hopeful
Enough to inspire me to write
More poems that expresses my insight
For comments and suggestions
You do have certain notions
Of how a great writer should be
Because you are one of them surely
A great man and writer
That someday sooner then later
Loved by us, by all
For we know you loved us all
So, when time comes to say goodbye to you
We can also make you smile with a Thank You
Every teacher hopes to move the mind of a student upward and the heart of that student onward. Dr. Wilde is obviously a very successful teacher as your writings show both heart and mind. Excelsior!
