Only heaven, only the stars could understand what was going
on inside

I was told to only dream

Days before now, I only held onto a photo of you
But today, your standing before me
and the words, the words I couldn't say or find

The lights flashed before me
The day easily grasped my soul

Do you remember me at all?

Your smile I only stared at in letters
Your hands finally held mine.
Your hair so beautiful, finally not far from my touch
I wish I could hold you closer to me

But this day will go on and on
will you remember me when we look back
