Do You Remember? Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

Do You Remember?

Can you hear your hair grow
The answer is probably... No!
Can you smell a blooming rose
after many continuous snows

Can you feel warmth in the night
after the sun has left your sight
Is the taste of honey just as sweet
after fragile bee wings fail to beat

Answers can vary from yes
to well, I guess…
A searching mind can recreate
a slide show eliminating debate

All the sensations of life are able
to duplicate and remain stable
when you recall the years in a row
moving slow…as you go
