Do You Not See America? Poem by Rik Bertrand

Do You Not See America?

There is no answer, no final word
No right, no wrong, and nothings.
It's all gone, left to rot in the sewer of life.
God have mercy on us all.

We have forgotten our fathers,
Our flag is questioned as is flies.
Our way of life is threatened
Yet we sit and do nothing.

In god we trust and pledge of allegiance,
They are stricken from our life.
Do we not remember our heritage?
Are we but the puppets of bigots?

Stand up and be heard you are a true American
Do not let our freedoms be trampled
Although you may let god down,
God will never let you down; he is always by your side.

In God We Trust, May you never forget.
The American way is our right
Do not tread on thy colors
Be strong, Be Free, Be what America once was.

A message from a concerned citizen

REB (MAY 2012) because I see what's happening
