Do You Know Surrender? Pt.1

Do You Know Surrender? Pt.1

I can't recall how we first met, but I do know it was very mysterious. I was just minding my own business when she waltzed by. I didn't know her name, but I felt this tug on my heartstrings. I ignored the obvious that day. She came so close to me, as if daring me to walk down the wild side of the tracks.

Who was this 'Temptress of Silky Smooth Vibes'? Surrender was her name and she was just coming alive. She didn't take no for an answer. What she wanted she usually got and with the intensity of fire. Surrender was passion and desire gone astray. Surrender was in my life most everyday.

She was seductive, charming, powerful, explosive, flirty, crass, cold and yet so overwhelmingly undeniable, that I found her hard to resist. I didn't want to give in so quickly to her demands, but it was beyond my ability. Surrender had me, as she was jerking my chain. She was leading me by every fiber of my being. I was in a trap, in a maze roaming around in a daze. She had me tripping, but I was wishing that I was still in control. She wouldn't let me go. I don't know this Surrender and I can't go out like this.

Surrender was a time and a place. Well, as you might have guessed, I would be very prompt. She wouldn't let me overstep my own expectations my own ambitions. She taught me courage and gave me great wisdom. She became my best friend for a very long time. I knew her all too well, you know her likes and dislikes what she truly feels. What she desired or should I say who. She would lead me into illimitable troubles. I didn't mind her kind. Surrender's trouble was great pleasure, but it detoured to a broken heart. Course I would always pray that this kind of pain wouldn't happen ok.

Surrender was a 'Drama Queen'. She wanted it her way and she was very much in charge. She required the very best from me. My performance had to be, an 'Academy Award Affair' or I would never find her there. 'My Surrender, Oh Sweet Surrender' no way no how this wasn't the person who had me on lockdown.

I was imprisoned and held without bond. Surrender lead me around in chains. Are you telling me that I'm the one to blame? She never was what she pretended to be. She was no friend of mine just a truer enemy. I can't blame her she didn't do it by herself like 'Samson and Delilah', eyes wide shut.

I've had happier times beyond this place and state of mind. I won't give her the gratification of seeing me pace. Oh yes Surrender, I knew her when when I should have ran and never let this foolishness begin.

I was coming of age and had no real sense. I didn't know how to act or who to convince that I was ready to take on the world come what may, this is when Surrender came to stay. She showed me everything she knew and being so young, I had no clue. That if I gave into all of her demands, I'd be unstable, unable to cope and gain my footing ever again. Surrender counted on this, she was my enemy-friend.

As time went on, I was set on getting my life back. I didn't like her becoming the master and I her slave. She would take me to Heaven and just as quickly, I'd be in Hell. Surrender never left me alone, she shared my jail cell. There were nights of desperation and anguish and doubt, soul-searching, relentless crying and designs of a plan to win this bout. I had to wait until she was asleep or else it would all be incomplete. It must work this is my only chance to ditch Surrender and be who I truly am.

Now I must finetune it somehow get some courage and strength. I'll call her out. I haven't seen her for days it seems. I hope she really doesn't think that I'm falling for this scheme. She has disappeared, well then maybe you know, if you do please tell. Do you know a place, where Surrender might go?
