Do You Know? Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Do You Know?

Do You Know?

Do you know what I said,
Yesterday, whispering in your ear?
You just turned away,
And didn't even say a word back.

Do you know that,
When you whispered to me the next day,
I listened very carefully,
And gave your some solutions.

We really need to marry our hearts,
If not ourselves,
And make a lovely place,
For our heart's content.
