Do You Have A Sister, King? ......[human Nature; Humor; The King That Was Big Head]

Rating: 5.0

Do you have a sister
Oh My Royal Mister?
If you do I would come to Your Court,
And would, with her, consent to consort.

If she is pretty and slim, all the better,
But she doesn't need to measure up to the letter.
Yes, slim, rather than fat would be best;
That makes it easier to hold ALL of her to my chest.

It's not that I dislike fat girls; I know they can be nice. And
There are those who would choose MORE meat,
And, at a slim girl, not look twice.

As for my mention of the word 'pretty',
I know there will be those who, on me, may feel pity.
Truth be told 'pretty' isn't needed if she is nice, and sweet,
And maybe wealthy and quick-on-her-feet.

So here is my supplication to You, Oh King:
Give me her hand, and
I'll give her the ring.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
in case my wife hears about this poem: it is totally fictional! ! !
almost.....there IS a King to Whom i write this, His Majesty....The King That Was Big Head (TKTWH) . He is a mysterious member of poemhunter. He is Very Pretty and Most Wealthy and lives in a grand palace. if you have met him already, you know that. if i could get some life-sized photos of Him i would take some of mine (one or two) off my ballroom wall and put His up.
i do remain a better poet than he, but i do not have so much money; maybe if he has a wealthy sister? bri (see His comment on my poem [a long one] 'My Modest Life'.)
