Have you ever noticed
When some people talk to you
They always want to say their bit
And never listen, true!

You cant get word in edgeways
Or any way in fact
They never seem to listen
They never have much tact

Oh dear I get so frustrated
Trying to say my little bit
That in the end I just have to say
I’m sorry so I quit

I walk away just wondering
What was that all about
Then suddenly I realised
That all I heard was nowt

T'was all a load of rubbish
Went in one ear and out other
I simply wasn’t listening
Oh dear I’ve blown my cover!
