^~ Do Not Wake Me, From My Dreams ~^

Rating: 0.5

I'll pack my dreams and leave today.
Hoist anchor and then, sail away.
I shan't look back upon this shore,
I'll leave this bay forevermore.

There's no future here I foresee.
Just like the gulls I must be free.
This humdrum life 'tis not for me.
I'll journey far across this sea!

Life's treasures I will surely find.
Perhaps 'twill bring me peace of mind.
I'll leave as soon as it's daybreak,
my happiness it is at stake.

My ship awaits me so it seems.
Please do not wake me from my dreams ~
