Do not know

I do not know
How to worship
I do not know
How to pray
And for this
See I am
Miserable and
Frightened
I do not know
With this poor
Insignificant
Human body
Filled with
Blood flesh
And stool
Covered with skin
How to worship
I do not know
How to pray
I do not know
And for this
I am roaming
Tired and exhausted
In this world
O my dear
You yourself do
What you want to do
How can I know you
I am useless
With urine stool
Blood and flesh.

Poem of the Day

poet Dante Gabriel Rossetti

A little while a little love
The hour yet bears for thee and me

If still our heaven be lit above.
Thou merely, at the day's last sigh,
