Do Not Go Sweetheart Poem by Akhtar Jawad

Do Not Go Sweetheart

Rating: 4.9

Night is still left,
Do not go sweetheart,
I love your theft!
What else you want?

You stole my soul,
You stole my heart,
You stole my self,
What else you want?

Is anything left?
Is it my life?
I love your theft,
Here is the knife!

Shared life with you,
Let me share the rest,
Alone you can’t knit,
Anywhere a nest!

It is so sweet and cute. The lover has given away all his assets- the soul, the heart and the self - to his muse and is now willing to sacrifice his life. What a beautiful romantic poem. Thanks, Sir.
