Do a good deed and give some cash
To a charity thought worthwhile,
And just that single do good splash
Will bring a flood in request pile.
Charity competition is
Intense for each and ev'ry buck.
Solicitation is big biz.
Don't wanna be bothered - good luck!
Yes, some do feel it's punishment
As constant means to do give end.
But enough feel it's compliment
Or guilt, and thus their cash they'll send.

No good deed goes unpunished when
The do gooder might do again.
