Do Coroners Lie When Loved Ones Die? Poem by Vallerie Lobell

Do Coroners Lie When Loved Ones Die?

Rating: 5.0

Do coroners lie when loved ones die?
I'm sure their hearts are in the right places,
Most diffucult job in the world, far as I can see,
Detailing why and wherefore to people they're facing,
I was told she died instantly, only way I could go on you see,
Police report said her beautiful body was torn in two,
This I did not hear from you,
But I would never sleep another wink,
If I thought she had one minute to think,
If she called out for her kids or me,
I could not endure with that knowledge you see,
If she had one second of regret,
Before she breathed her last breath,
I recieved the Crocs she had worn,
Her favorite Beatles purse still clutched on her arm,
Oh it's God's mercy she did not see,
The Crown Victoria doing over seventy,
Bearing down on her, in my mind I make it blur,
There are paths my thoughts want to take,
If followed would only lead to more heartache,
Barely keep myself and the kids going,
Praying it's truth, but still not knowing,
Do coroners lie when loved ones die?

Your heartache and pain is felt in these words you have expressed in this write…It is safe to assume that the truth may never be known so trust in what you believe to be the truth. Scott

This raises a poignant question......what is....truth? In this instance......perhaps....might the lie.....be.......TRUTH?
