Dnd Highwayman Poem by The Manly Manly Man

Dnd Highwayman

Rating: 5.0

He was a highwayman, but only his friends knew. A highwayman, but only level two. His title was foolish knave, and had nothing to lose. An adventure he would go on, to save the princess he must do. He needed a team, a priest and a warrior For he would do this for her.
She was a priest, very well known. A very high level, a woman who groans. Her title was holy queen, everything to lose. An adventure she would go on, with two other losers. A team she would join, of two foolish knaves. But she would do this for him.
He was a warrior, a robust one at that. He soared above the skies like a bat. Not very powerful, but courage to no limit. OORAH he would cry, OORAH. A team he would save, of two lovebirds To get them outside, he would do this for his friend.
They ventured far and wide, the wind laughing at them. Fighting a near endless assault of gem. For the priest, it was as easy as pie For the Highway man, it was as fun as turnips For the warrior, it was a quest he must complete To get them together, to live a real life.
They found the castle, in which the princess lay. But there was a dragon, a dragon they must face. The warrior pushed the highwayman in, to make him face his fears. But alas, the battle was as sad as tears. He could not fight the dragon, he was too weak. His death was quick, as he was quite meek.
The other two met a similar fate, but the highwayman was alive. He saw the priestess on the floor, and he was then burning with rage. He no longer cared about the gold the princess may cage He only cared about vengeance to his love, the priestess. She brought him back, and the least he could do was to slay the foe. He charged in, knowing that it would be his last day.
The dragon gnarled, and went back to his prize. The princess lay cowering, hoping that she would strive. Her rescue would be another day. Hopefully another brave highwayman and priest that would give her life. The dragon walked back to the gate Knowing, that another hero, would not be late.
To try and try again
But never to no avail.
