Divided Poem by Anna Pacheco

Divided

Rating: 2.3

Rebel terror factions need not worry
U.S. a wide divide we can proclaim
Killer attack bomb plots need not hurry
Our own a rift at home may now inflame
With our own self hatred we separate
On to the Left side and to the Right side
And so as the expanse accelerate
Can we the people stop the great divide
How and when did the split become so broad
Someone step up now and make us connect
It needs to be one who we all can laud
We have to right the wrong, and must correct
Without a fail, no item can obstruct
Right now we must unite or self destruct

I don't know who gave low scores on this one, but they are wrong. The rhymes were quite good. The flow of the poem, while not perfect, was no real problem. I find nothing here not to recommend. GW62

Is'nt that the truth. A House devided cannot stand. We do need to unite and stay that way. Nice write.
