Distraught Mind

You rock back and forth,
With no control,
You stare at the wall,
Not really seeing,
You think about your life,
And how it has changed,
You ask what have you done,
To help the others,
You wonder what you were make for,
What your purpose in life is,
You mistaken the pictures,
For smiling angels,
You start to cry,
For you don’t want to leave,
You understand that it is not over,
And you can still fight,
You feel the packed walls,
Falling into you,
You sense the rain,
As it leaks through,
You watch as the glass breaks,
As it drifts beside you,
You finally see the world,
The world as it is,
You can control your thoughts,
And actions too,
You feel the weight being lifted,
And stand up,
You reach for the world,
And smile.
