Distant Demons Poem by Silentpoet Grl

Distant Demons

Rating: 5.0

cut so deep, brings blood seeping out my veins
soon distant demons are howling in the rain
whispers of a dark angel in my ear saying its time to fly
soon my heart is torn open, this is my time to die
spreading my wings, into a void of nothing I fall back
eyes of hidden demons glow as everything turns black
as my blood continues to drip I accept this is my death
darkness swallows me as I take my final breath.

OMG this is powerful. I can totally feel your despair! Don't let the demons win, hold on, all you have is your soul, don't let them rob you of it. Thank you for sharing.

Demons come in many forms, they can attach themselves to us with out our even knowing. They can influence our minds when we are not on guard, thoughts that can destroy us, and/or lead us to believe we are acting upon our own will. Your poem is a reminder to me that we are what we think, and how important it is to guard the mind from thoughts that can condemn us. Great write.

I walk with you those final steps As you take your last breath Holding you in everlasting love Surrounding from above You have suffered enough You can not take any more stuff So fly with me in the open air Feel my soul, for I really do care Know you are never alone You can call me on the phone... Hugs n Blessings...
