Distance Apart.... Poem by Ging Taping

It was in the middle of September

Walking along the shore

Sun hidden behind the clouds

soon to come out for sure

Waves lapping away at my feet

Gently caressing my toes



Seagulls dance to the tune of the morning air

Waves rhapsodize my emptiness

Wanting and needing a cure for my despair

Tears running down my face

Sobbing hard like I'm in a race

Missing you so bad right now!

My world's going mad but not sure why or how.



I want to hug you oh so tight

And feel the warmth of your embrace

I want to hold you

Together we climb the highest mountains

With a desire to soar through the velvet sky

Want to be with you forever

To be the apple of your eye.



I wanted to kiss your lips

Just to feel the sweet tenderness

Of your touch and caresses

Lay down beside you and feel the love tonight

Watched from the sky by stars so bright.



Yes we're very close

But I also feel like we're a million miles apart

That I could only reach you if I travel far

To the very edges of my imagination...
