I'm sitting here, loving you, watching you sleep
And wondering when you will rise
I long for your laughter, the glow of your smile,
And the sparkle that comes from your eyes

I see in you, dear, what I never have seen
from anyone I've ever known.
Truthfulness, purity, drawing me near
And, I'll never again be alone.

The distance between us can't keep us away
The ocean, so vast and so wide
You are the reason for faith in my life
And I know that our souls coincide.

I instantly saw you, and knew that you were
The love missing deep in my heart
The every and absolute reason for life
And we'll never again be apart.
