This distance from you makes my love flare,
This distance from you is so hard to bear,
The love that I feel encasing my heart,
It cannot be held for you are gods art,

And you hold my heart from such a long distance,
How can you take all my hope and my fear,
For they're in my heart and my heart is not here,
My heart is with you, and with it my cheer,

For you're what I want,
Where I want to be,
I love your blue eyes they're the ghosts of my dreams,

Holding my heart,
From such a long distance,
Distance which hurts,
I cry from your absence.
