Dissident Prince Poem by gershon hepner

Dissident Prince

If you’re the driver of a damaged car
that’s been rear-ended you won’t miss a dent,
but though a prince is neither king nor czar,
it’s hard to think of him as dissident.
The critics, who aren’t hypocritical,
believe the state of Britain is as sickly
as Denmark, where cartoons political
have made a lot of Muslims just as prickly
as is the Prince, who seems to be uneasy
because his head does not yet wear the crown.
Although the pole he has to climb is hardly greasy,
it seems that he is always falling down.
Although he’s dissident, he won’t cause riots
as Muslims who are pricklier than he
have done because of worms within their diets,
for he is right-wing with his gaucherie.
