Disconcerned Child - Poem by sophia schneider

The disintegrating memories
of a disconcerned child
who cries out for help
when she acts wild
disappointing her father
enraging her mother
leaping from one boy to another
she's tricked to confession
then reveals her obsession
her need to be loved,
to be in someones arms again
