Disappointed Poem by No Reason To Care

that's all they want is smiles and laughs
why is it so hard for them to grasp
that I don't like to smile when I'm sad as can be
and I don't like to laugh and pretend to be happy
why can't they just accept me the way I am?

they try to change me
they want me to be a normal kid
but I'm not and there disappointed

disappointed I like to read and Wright
disappointed I don't like sports
and disappointed in me

I know they will forever love me
but they never liked me and never will
because I refuse to change
who I am
