Dirty politics

Bleeds my heart for the present happenings on my land
A profession by name politics is chosen by greed and cruel
Unable to earn by working hard laziest lots opted for this
Minds of theirs play destructive tricks targeting the power
Politics is a business where the investment is selfish minds
Innocence and ignorannce of the poor and commons
are their sources of funds in building their empire
A peaceful atmosphere will never fetch them votes
A harmonious co-existence will never get them riches
Plans were drawn under the pretext of emotionalism
to generate bitterness and hatred among the people
gone are the lives of innocents and ignorants
thriving are the instigated with undue attention
Even educated and people of elite also fallen their trap
Sentiments and emotions rising to the levels of crest
while wisdom and reasoning trampled under the feet
justified is the concern from the commons of both the sides
condemnable are the outbursts of leaders from both the sides
Without a willingness of all in finding a real and fair solution
nothing can be done except quoting the following quotes

‘politics is the art of making your selfish desires
Seem like national interest’
Thomas Sowell

Politics is the art of looking for trouble, finding it everywhere, diagnosing it incorrectly and applying the wrong remedies.”
Grouch Marx

Poem of the Day

poet Sir John Suckling

Dost see how unregarded now
That piece of beauty passes?
There was a time when I did vow
To that alone;
But mark the fate of faces;
