Dimes Poem by G J Salgado

Dimes

I awoke to the sound
Of precious metals on the ground
They fell left and right
All through the night
It was a symbol of grace
Entertaining me with its fate
Wondering where or who they are
Coming from a place from afar
Gives me sudden pleasure
Tokens of such hidden treasures
