Dilemma shoes or suits

African politicians
They buy
Italian suits
When they really
Need shoes

I know
That is not making you
Guys
Smart

We need
Leaders
Not politicians
With bright suits
And bare feet

Guys
What happen
No more like Mandela
OR Gandhi
Our schools
Dry
OR mothers
Change their minds

I don't know
But we should think
What we need
Bright suits
OR
Pair of shoes?

What people need
Is genuine leaders
Not bad copies

Poem of the Day

poet Emily Jane Brontë

I am the only being whose doom
No tongue would ask no eye would mourn
I never caused a thought of gloom
A smile of joy since I was born

In secret pleasure - secret tears
