Dilemma Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

Dilemma

Can't say no
Can't say yes
Can't say more
Can't say less

I am in a fix
Can't play tricks

Can't run ahead
Can't move back
Can't think hard
Can't act slack

I have needs a few
Can't leave you

Can't forget them
Can't forsake you
Can't move the ship
Can't save the crew

Standing on the edge
I can't take a pledge

Can't get love
Can't face hate
Can't feel happy
Can't like to fret

Can't sleep the night
I fear the daylight

Can't live like this
Can't die alone
Can't make her smile
Can't bear her moan

In a dilemma
I welcome the dawn
Think the night
Should not have gone
