Dilemma Poem by Elena Sandu

Dilemma

Rating: 5.0

Any beautiful thing
in the world
means nothing
if not shared
with somebody loved.
Yet, if the loved one's hand
we are to hold
for any other beauty
we're almost
without sight
..Mostly blind..
What shall we choose:
The loved one's beauty
or the World's?

Just see the beauty of the world, the loved one's eyes, and, also see the beauty of the world through them. Try to let the loved one do the same thing, too. @@ See?

Great poem, Elena. So true. What is beauty if we cannot share it with a loved one. Love in the beauty of nature, sounds like paradise but you are also right that if we are very much IN love sometimes we have not eye for nature anymore. Thought provoking. Nicely written.
