Oh Elena thank you for taking me back to those times when life was
so very different than it is now. I remember the days a plain old soda
pop was a delight to drink and a fruit flavored pop sickle was a pleasure
to lick on. There were no ipads, smartphones or any kind high tech equipments
back then. Seems the more we go forward we take two steps backward.
A very inspiring write. (Report) Reply

Oh! Great Elena! This makes one sit and ponder! You put the drastic change that has come over everyone so realistically without exaggeration or the use of hyperbole! Each in his own self spun cocoon of existence! ! Enjoyed much and I award you a clean 10 for this rxcellent write! (Report) Reply

Perhaps we need rules in such company to share all being communicated or get off the I. Devices. I do it too and am not a hypocrite but will share and then turn it off and can do both talk and text and laugh and be silent. But I will always share as that is an essence of humanity. Thought provoking Elena. (Report) Reply

As Khairul has rightly put it, technology has really robbed us of our emotions and civilization has also done us bad, what you talk about in this thought provoking poem of your my friend is true....

Wonderful depiction of societal changes. Technology has taken away from us much more than what it has given. Science has given us motion, but taken away our emotion. (Report) Reply
