Different Paths Poem by Emzee d'Va

Different Paths

Rating: 4.5

We are going to different paths,
I knew it will be hard,
we were best friends,
and now we are ripped apart.

I remember the good days we had,
throughout these 11 long years,
you were there when I was off,
even when I was in down and nearly out.

But now its all changed,
we cant be together anymore,
no more home works to copy,
or friendly insults thrown onto each other.

No more sick jokes,
or hanging out by the washroom,
now we have an un-lived life to fear,
and that's the worst of them all.

I will never forget that smile of yours,
and how it made me glad,
just remember you'll always be,
the best-est friend I've ever had.....
