Different But Similar, Similar Yet Different Poem by Ranjith Wijekoon

Different But Similar, Similar Yet Different

Two chili plants
With identical origins
They are of the same kind

But one in the bush
Grows free and wild
No one to tend

The other in a garden
Growins to a plan
Tended with a purpose

On the dinner table
Just a part of the salad
Both chilies taste the same
