Diamond Barclays Bank Poem by Terence George Craddock (Spectral Images and Images Of Light)

Diamond Barclays Bank

Rating: 3.5

In Britain
some families
are living
on ten pound
a day only?

According to figures
one and a half million
Britons live in severe
poverty therefore we
salute the smiling
Mr Diamond laughing.

Barclays’ Bank President
Bob has made a supreme
sacrifice and only voted
himself 9 million pounds
bonus this sacrifice year?

Please no one finger salutes
this is a thumbs down moment
vote Barley’s with your feet.
