Devotional Plead To The Universal Mother* Poem by Tushar Ray

Devotional Plead To The Universal Mother*

(Heartfelt appeal thru a Bengali song)

Oh Mother, please show me
How Thou play Thy pitiful games
For disciplining Thy children
I also ask Thee, oh Mother
How long do I to live on earth
Watching Thy unwitty games? '

Thou hold some children so dearly
Keeping a distance from others
Are Thy games of pushing and pulling
The manifestations of Thy Love?
Yet, no place on earth I feel safer
Oh Mother
Than sleeping in Thy bosom

At times I see Thy horrific face
With long flying disorderly hair
At times I see Thy sparkling eyes
Releasing sympathy for restraint

In life I sleep in Thy loving bosom,
And, the same I will in death
Oh Mother,
Where else do I get this kind of bliss!
Like napping in my Mom's embrace!
