Devoted Passions (Sonnet Poem) Poem by Tia Attwood

Devoted Passions (Sonnet Poem)

Beneath the twilight skies with mauve tinged haze,
with feathered wings of amber spans her light,
our eyes of saphire gaze 'neath moon fine blaze,
as souffle' lips caress and wings take flight

The scent of jasmine permeates night air,
our fingers slowly stroke along each key,
upon our valley mounds and fruit we bare,
together cast our sails in ecstasy.

However time has passed since we last tryst,
besides the swirling waves of ebbing shores,
When rings took hold and worlds entwined once kissed,
be reassured my heart's forever yours.

The whispered words of love once shared i hold,
In memories inbed in heart worth gold.
