Devil Poem by Joseph Narusiewicz

Devil

1984 is in the mirror
I think I am possessed by lies
Bored and compensated for
Thriving on diminished returns
My girl friend is one of the body snatchers
The Matrix calls my name
The savage in Brave New World swings
Notes from the underground
Like swimming in gum
Stalin opens his eyes one last time
There is a devil
