Destoyer Poem by Joseph Narusiewicz

Destoyer

life is filled with ups and downs
There are many broken hearts
Some wounded by belated love
Refugees in wars they didn't start

Funeral bells ring in every land
We cry and hear eternities call
Time runs and each has their time
The Angel of death strikes all

I hear, You don't know the pain I'm in
No one knows what I'm going through
I may not realize all what you feel
This I have learned about attitude

Grief does not destroy, self pity does
