There is a moving ladder we try to climb
From the commonplace to the sublime
But the ladder moves at its pace
And forces a look at destiny's face

Yet, our efforts are not unseen
There's always someone & has been
Who moves the ladder up and down
And tells us when to laugh and frown

So try on and do your best
Be sure destiny will do the rest
It is not random fancy or whim
We shape it by what we do for Him
