Destination's Naught Poem by Danny The Dreamer Boyd

Destination's Naught

Why bother start when you do know the end?
Is it the hope the end could altered be?
Is it the prayer for not a stormy sea?
Is it the faith you could maintain a friend?
You ken what happens when you harshly bend?
You break, and all the shattered pieces lee,
And all the feelings once have set you free:
Will not, alas, have anyone to tend!
'I care not for what follows here and now,
This life's much more than bitter aftertastes,
Or solace o'er so many days long gone;
It matters not 'What if? ' or 'Why? ' or 'How? '
I only want to be not one who wastes:
The sun because the dusk succeeds the dawn! '
