Destination Poem by Ahatisham Alam

Destination

Rating: 5.0

I was loitering as a cloud.
What's my destination,
I never thought of.
Wandering freely far and wide.
Was nothing to abide.

I watched the fields green.
I watched the glorious scene.Ploughmen dancing and singing.
Scattered joy as spring. I came upon a place drought.
Nothing to delight I sought. A weeping child of nine.
Pale skin and his eyes shine.
I watched him into the dust.Playins against the mighty gust.
I found myself quite unjust.
Million tears fell when I burst.
