Desires Poem by Karunanidhy Shanmugam

Desires

It was the evening sky
Birds fly..so high!
All that I could see
Was their order in spree
After a full day's ploy
Filled with great joy
What they want and need
Is that a very simple seed
Just to keep them alive
Like a strong bee-hive!
Shame filled through my mind
While thinking the worst of our kind!
