Desire And Sacrifice Poem by Aniruddha Pathak

Desire And Sacrifice

To some, man's made of desire,
And some swear for sacrifice.
For desires that douse no fire,
People do pay heavy price.
They that put out passion's pyre
When bare but few things suffice,
Forgoing things in a trice,
Stands sacrifice far higher.
Yet, in eyes of paradise,
Virtue or vice is desire.
