Desire And Denial Poem by Uriah Hamilton

Desire And Denial

Rating: 5.0

I’m everyday blinded with tears
Of desire and denial,
Longing and regret,
Memory and the need
To forget everything I know.

I’m certain we kissed
Yesterday or in a previous life,
But it was a long time ago.

Hauntingly lovely. The old year may be ending, but the words of the true poet will never be outdated. Shine on, Uriah. Kindest regards, Sandra
