Desiderium Poem by Carlos Aragao

Desiderium

Rating: 5.0

When the sky start to cry
Dropping all this sadness deep
inside...
And your soul kind of left you behind
My lips tremble at your sight

It's a bird flying around a tree
It's a kiss lost in melancholy
It's a sea full of dead souls
It's the destiny, left at shore

Just found a dead bird
All cold with beautiful colors outside
Began imagine the places he once flew
His wings flapping in the high...

It's too late to ask where he went
His memory is lost inside
The things one day he lived
Are forever lost in time

And even now
When the moon is hidden
And just the brighter stars come up
I think about your wings...

How colorful and majestic they are
If you just take that flight instead of the fall
I know your essence...
By heart I know it all

I see you in the shadows
That you show day after day...
My heart know about your lost dreams
My heart is beating for your sins

And still I miss your wings
I miss all that you could know
No one see you the way I do
No one ever touched you so deep the soul

I hear you cry sometimes...
I am sure you can hear mine
In special on those long nights
When you see that perfect moon in the sky...
