Depression Poem by Ellisha McKenna

Depression

Dark thoughts dark thoughts,
Everywhere I go,
No control no control,
I let the blood flow.

Evil twin evil twin,
It won't leave me alone,
Stupid girl stupid girl,
My mind is a combat zone.

Battlefield battlefield,
It's the way I live my life,
No hope no hope,
I cut my skin with a knife.

No one no one,
I cry myself to sleep,
Screaming screaming,
Only young but hear my weep.

Dark thoughts dark thoughts,
To the building's ledge,
No control no control,
As I fall off the edge.

Evil twin evil twin,
Can't hurt me any more,
Stupid girl stupid girl,
Evil has won the war.

A heartfelt and very deep poem about depression. Not only hurts the individual but also family and friends. Hoping for light at the end of the tunnel.
