Depression Poem by Danusha Marie

Depression

Rating: 4.8

Loneliness envelopes
Fear consumes
Giving way
To death of hope

Standing empty
Darkness looms
Leaving one
At the end of the rope

Insecurities chatter
Feeding doubt
Stifles courage
Convinced you're a dope

Breaking spirit
Disparity grows
Joy improbably
Only time to mope

Eating at soul
Emptiness swallows
Tears search
For strength to cope
