Depression Poem by Patricia Gale

Depression

Rating: 5.0

It creeps into your soul like a devouring evil mist
Consuming the very heart that beats with in the soul
Turning, weaving leaving nothing but a blacken hole

Befriend the demons that lay deep within
Lingering feelings out of control
Leaving ashes of remorse and sin

Bringing cold and emptiness
Leaving heartaches silently confessed
Pulling, tugging and leaving the soul stressed

Bitter call of loneliness and pain
Tonight what will be your gain?
Another being lost deep inside your shame
