Depressa's Song Poem by olivia helmes

Depressa's Song

Blue is the mood i wear today
the cause tag bears your name
your going away but you cant help it
taking my breathe away cant you stay
you say not today
and i think not tomorrow not next week not christmas not ever
shes gone away
-
Your the stitching that holds my quilt together
the tears salting my coffee
teh snow fallin' down on my depression
the finger tellin me dont touch
you taught me love is precious
, ...and it is
Am i supposed to let my everything become my nothing to me
-
Cuts are the suit i wear today
a memorial to your memory
pain resides in just being
your abscence has done it again
feel the rush
...taste the memories to never come
-
Your the stitching that holds my quilt together
the tears salting my coffee
the snow fallin' down on my depression
the finger tellin me dont touch
the one that always told me i was pretty
you taught me love is precious
no matter how much hell we went through you taught me love is precious
...and it was
