Departure Poem by Hans Raj Sharma

Departure

Rating: 4.5

Beware of infections!
After the summer
The rain is here
Getting
Things the wettest
After being hotter
Everywhere
Every moment
On social media as well
Replacing
The justice-system
Though
A nice dawn
Watching while
Sitting in the lawn
Lawn of this life.

The roars
Of chock-full
Radiant laughter
With
Deep cry of howls
Howls of the mobs
Be it an advent
Advent
Of the long awaited
Sorry video
Of saying obscene
Keeping corner
From the nicest
Or bidding good bye
Good bye to mistakes
A cheesy affair
Somewhere
For the brave hearts
A dream coming true
When danger inspires.

Raising
Its ugly head
Raising a voice
Setting
For the re-tune
On a hunt
For meaty roles
Sneak peek into
The terms of insatiable
Engagements in politics
Twisting
The team work
Like a cake-walk.

Bountiful
Chance after chance
An easy tread
To course cruise
Giving further
A futile strategic rim
Testing the times
Posing governance
Of eminence
Over excellence.
