Demons Poem by abby Bland

Demons

I wear a mask of bliss
that shields all my sorrow
Im being chased by the demons of a painful past
they capture me and i cant break free
my mind is spinning, my my pulse is ascending, and my world is crashing

It is now that ive lost all sense of control
I grasp a razor and now i have all control
slash up the demons within me
bleed them out yet they always come back stronger than before
shelter myself for what ive done but the pleasure is so great that i cant overcome it
Ive been longing for a savior to come save me from myself
